Boccaccio 70

Vittori de Sica, Federico Fellini , Luchino Visconti, 1962, 150 minutes

With: Anita Ekberg, Sophia Loren, Romy Schneider

An anthology of films with each director telling a short story about a different aspect of morality and love in the modern times of the 60’s.

A provocative bilboard of the gorgeous Anita Ekberg selling milk is about to change the life of an italian senior, while Sophia Loren is the attractive prize of a lottery draw and Romy Schneider is an aristocratic wife whose husband is seen by the media when visiting prostitutes.

This evening we are screening the version of the film that was presented in Cannes Film Festival in 1962. This version includes the episodes directed by V. De Sica, F. Fellini  and L. Visconti. The episode directed by  Mario Monicelli is not present in this version.
