New media from the 6th edition of the Streaming Festival presented at Het Nutshuis.
 
The 6th edition will this year officially open on 1December in Het Nutshuis, The Hague, the Netherlands.
 
Het Nutshuis is a podium for art and culture with a focus on society. And since Het Nutshuis is conveniently located around the corner, we jumped at this opportunity to present a selection of our 6th edition program.
 
The unique experience of the Streaming Festival is as different for each viewer as the differences between us and our fellow man and woman. It is up to you to choose when and how to watch each program. Watch the films in the tranquillity of your own solitude or watch with friends, discussing and pausing the films whenever you wish.
So you are completely free to choose how you want to watch the Streaming Festival and how best to appreciate the work on show.
 
Alongside underground video art from all over the world, which is combined in the reloaded Tiltisfth & other video experiments program, this edition will serve as the premiere for a whole new direction based solely on audio. It showcases various types of audio, from soundtracks and electronic improvisations to speech-based compositions.
And if you'd rather experience the tranquillity of no visuals or sound, try the new batch of Streaming Stills projected all over Het Nutshuis.
 
The infamous Pametex and DJ Technician will share their obscure LP collection with us by playing lost & forgotten soundtracks, followed by The Hague-based and original architects of the Cocadisco: Intergalactic FM. They will perform a live stream from Het Nutshuis directly into the ether, featuring clips, talks and music until closing time.
