Arab Camera Festival on tour

The Arab Camera Festival Rotterdam (28 Nov – 2 Dec, LantarenVenster) has sought out the latest film works of both up-and-coming and veteran filmmakers from Arabic countries. On December 6 & 7 the festival will arrive at Het Nutshuis with a selection of freshly produced films and documentaries. 

All films have English subtitles.

Mahmoud is one of the "Tahrir square horseriders” who, on 2nd February 2011, manipulated by Mubarak’s regime, charged against the young revolutionaries. Beaten, humiliated, unemployed, ostracised in his neighbourhood near the Pyramids, Mahmoud and his family are losing their footing… It is then that he meets Reem, a young Egyptian divorcee, modern and secular, who works in advertising. Reem is a militant revolutionary and lives in a nice neighbourhood in Cairo. Their meeting will change their lives.
